How do "Mod's" affect the factory warantee?
I still have about 16 K miles left on the factory warantee, and don't want to void it...yet. What (if any) mods can I add to my Shark to boost it up? Will me installing a short throw shifter void the warantee? How about a CAI? And the cat's?

uh
on one of the posts it says that anything done to your car will void the warranty. And then the explanation after that says that that is false? which one is right |

the one after that. it is the law that a dealer has to prove that the part u stuck on it was the cause of the problem.
say if i got a CAI on my car, and my battery shits out. they would still have to replace the battery if it was under warranty(so long as the CAI did not cause iot to break) |

if i put a turbo in my car.
and my engine or battery shits out. i'll still get warranty right? If i get into an accident, they would still give me a new entire car right? |

they would have to replace your battery.
but your engine is a different story. whenever you are boosting an engine, the entire engine is under extra stress. so they could probably prove that the turbo caused it to bust. they could even say the extra power from a turbo caused the tranny to break if it did. accidents are different, and have nothing to do with the warranty. thats all insurance. |
