how is vtec still kicking in??

ok the ecu is throwing three codes:

code 21 - VTEC solenoid valve
code 22 - VTEC pressure switch
code 23 - knock sensor

but vtec is still kicking in and i dont see why......do any of you guys kno why??and what do you think i should do to stop it from throwing the codes??..........thanks

IIRC, those are the 3 "New" wires that you need to wire into your harness. You might want to double check your connections...
