We are waiting for the lift to get installed at our house then the coilovers, cat-back, and header will be installed. Just for simplicity you know

Re: Home-made Si grill (98 coupe)

Looks like shit and sohc's suck ass.

lol j/k andy, looks really nice. How do you like the car, is she treating you well? I spent $30 or so on a generic ctr grill, wish I would have known how to do this trick first. Did you have to cut it up or anything? Just post here how you did it!

That looks pretty slick, was it easy? You should post the DIY instructions in here.

Here ya go, Instructions are kinda confusing so if you have any questions just ask.

1. Take grill off car (2 clips on top, 4 screws that can be reached through front bumper hole)
2. Unscrew 8 (I think) silver screws holding the grey inside of the grill to the painted outside section of it.
3. Cut the grey inside part of the grill so that you only have the top left (from top down to where the 4 screws on the top of the painted part of the grill connect to the grey part.
4. Buy mesh
5. Put top of the grey (part you cut) back onto painted part and screw it together
6. Get longer screws and screw the mesh to the back of the assembled grill
7. Attach plastic cap thingies back on the top of the grill and close the hood
8. Stand back and ENJOY

Hope I helped

The car is treating me REAL well. I am in love with it

It seems a TINY bit quicker than the other with quite a bit more torque pull at WOT.

Um... lose the blue hose man. I can barely make out the Civic emblem, turn the lights on or something!

Thanks for the DIY instructions. My girl is thinking about buying a 96-00 EX coupe, and one of my really good friends has one, so they'll both be interested in this. Inexpensive, and it upgrades the looks too.

LOL, I suppose that is...LOL. But it's different when it's a DIY project. APC = crappy. I've seen some very nice DIY projects before. That turned out much better than any APC crap. No APC for me, hell no, lol. DIY, now some of those actually turn out decent.

Actually it won't look as good on the 99-00 Civic. The lip portion of the grill is two pieces and will not look remotely like an Si or CTR grill.
