Post Cd player memory wire help.

I have a sony explode cd player and a friend put it in for me but never hooked the memory wire in. So when i turm the car off it resets the cd player. What wire do i need to hook in?

This wire need to have constant power. There should be a wire in the factory radio harness that will have +12V at all times (unless the fuse is blown). If there is not a wire that has this, check the fuses, especially under the hood...it will most likely be labeled as "back-up". This is most likely the problem...does your interior light work?

Yes all the lights work and the cd player works i just dont know what wire to hook up.
