95 sentra auto transmission acting up

I was driving home one day and reaching for a cup in my cup holder, i shifted into neutral. Nothing was wrong until I tried to shift back into drive and I went the wrong way and shifted into reverse going about 45 mph., locking the wheels. Now the car goes, but it only shifts once from 0-60. It feels like there is no 1st or overdrive. Starts in 2nd, shifts to 3rd, and then revs high at high speeds. Like I said the car goes alright, only a little slow to start and kills my gas milage. Any transmission advice would be helpful.
