just installed strut tower bar...

well, now that I am nearing the end of my warranty, I have installed an upper front strut tower bar... I really was kindof questioning as to if it would really make that much difference or if it just kindof looked good under the hood. (The ends of the bar were that ugly blue color... I do plan to paint them black...I was just anxious to see the handling difference. ) Wow, I am impressed how much wheel hop it eliminated. In combination, I do have Eibach Sportline springs and 225 40 18s with Yoko Avs ES100 tires so I get a pretty good bite on the pavement now, as far as handling goes.

Re: just installed strut tower bar...

What struts/shocks are you using? If stock those would be the next step, then upgraded REAR sway bar w/ lower tie.

Yeah, i am still riding on the stock shocks. I do plan to replace them but i have a 1970 Dodge Challenger convertible in the midst of bodywork. I am spending every penny on it because i am so close to being through with it. I have the 440 built, new turbo action tranny, all the interior is done and a new top, just got to push it thru the bodywork and paint. After i am through with bodywork, ill put some more time into the honda. I figure it gives me time to burn up the warranty on it anyway. If you have any suggestions as to what kind of shocks are good for the money, please do let me know though.

Thanks
Keith

PS- I dont know what happened to the pics i had posted... i used the same host that i used for my signature but they didnt work, i dunno. they were just a pic of my wheels/tires and my engine bay
