You need a tranny from a B series engine.

Re: hey every 1 got a quick Q

would a B18B/A auto tranny work with a B16? Oh, I forgot, they did make auto B16's way back in the day. If you can find an auto B16 tranny, which I really doubt you'll be able to, you could swap. Otherwise, go for a manual, it'll be more fun anyways

Yeah, they did make an auto for the B16. Talk to ladynredsi, she was talking about one a while ago, she could probably find one for you.

A B18 tranny should bolt right up to a B16. They're both B-series engines...

no, if you buy a b18b that comes with an auto tranny, then it's just likeing swapping an engine that comes with a manual tranny into a manual tranny equipped vehicle. If you were going from auto to manual it would be very difficult. But your car is already an auto, so swapping an auto tranny for an auto tranny wouldn't be very hard

tru, just unplug everything, take off the old tranny, and bolt/plug everything back in the same way.
