Not true. We got Lexus and still have heaps of Lexus dealerships.

Yeah but the seller is from LA, and that explains everything (and if you don't live in the U.S. the explanation is that LA is filled with stupid people)

Oh well, I can't wait for my JDM Yugo PCV valve to come in the mail. (it's got little LEDs embedded in it, just like the ones sold in Japan do!)

i know that. that's what i'm saying, they don't sell LEXUS in Japan. they bring Toyota cars over from Japan and re-badge them as Lexuses for us and whoever else gets Lexus. THEY don't actually have Lexus, so the though of a JDM Lexus badge is ludicrous. everyone understand now? lol.

I was more trying to straighten things out with Oz


Though I think the Lexus LS400 was marketed in Japan for a few years when it was first introduced (and shook up the motoring world)

Yeah, it's confused a few Aussie buyers. The local ones are badged Lexus and the quality Imports (mainly Soarers) are badged Toyotas.
