What year was your car made? I remember that Plymouth imported a car from Japan made by Mitsubishi, and called it "Plymouth Champ" it was a small hatchback type car.

My car was made in 1993.
When I tried to find a pic I have seen cars from the years 91-95, which arse sold as second hand in Korea now.

That car was sold here in Finland, Europe as Mitsubishi Lancer, otherwise identical, except for the front grille, which was totally different. They also had the Mitsubishi Colt available, which was basically the same car, but a hatchback.

We also have the Mitsubishi Lancer.
I think that this car was made on the base of the Lancer that was
made in 84.

Walla, it could really be just an old Lancer.
I haven't thought about it.
Thanks

We have the Colt too..

That car, with a different front end, was sold in the US (in the mid 1980s) as the Dodge Colt, Plymouth Colt, and Mitsubishi Mirage. These were the replacements for the first generation front-drive Dodge Colt, Plymouth Colt/Champ, and Mitsubishi Mirage.

hi, i'm form malaysia. i drive a proton saga which is actually the mitsubishi champ u all r talking about.

mitsubishi champ is also known as mitsubishi lancer fiore in Japan. the name champ is used for lancers manufactured in thai.
in 1985, mitsubishi had a collaboration with our national car company, PROTON, to build the lancer fiore under the name PROTON SAGA. the front end, back and dashboard has been redesigned but mechanical they r juz the same car.

a lot of car enthusiasts in malaysia changed their saga's front to fiore/champ front end, a usual scene in malaysia's modification world.

i'm currently collecting pictured of lancer fiore/champ/ dodge/plymouth champ, hope i can get some pictured from all of u champ/lancer owner here. thanks in advance.

cheers...
