Red face Don't you hate it when you bite off more than you can chew..

I Do!!!!

It's taking me forever to complete my RX-8. I've scratchbuilt a mazdaspeed bodykit (my first scratchbuild, too) and ontop of this decided to add adjustable low-down suspension from my celsior (i broke the shell so have a lot of parts) which means i spliced the wheel arches and suspension areas from the celsior floorpan onto the RX-8's. It's now taking forever to get it all right.... I seem to do this alot, bite off more than I can chew.

Anyone else got this horrible habit?

Regards,
Ryan

You have to start sometime. I started fabricating things with my dad when I was about 6. I've just been good with fabrication with wood and carbon fiber and stuff, but when I changed to plastic kits, that was so hard. You have to use different methods. You just have to keep practicing and you'll get better.

If I never bit off more than I could chew, I would cease to exist. I tell my wife that there is a method to my madness when she complains about the mess on my bench. After all, it can be seen from the front door. I have way too many projects started but too little time to finish anything.

I agree, but sometimes projects run deep. they wouldn't be so cool when they are finished if we didn't do some of the highly complex mods we do to them. all well worth it in the end.

I think I bite off more then I can chew when I post an in-progress thread here. I always feel bad that I don't update you guys enough. My progress is slow and not so steady, things I do take time and fabricating all these little parts takes forever. I'm sure you all understand.

Yeah. We would all rather see a really nice car with a bunch of nice mods, then see a car that was rushed and is just a piece of garbage. Fabrication does take a long time, and its pretty difficult if you don't know what you are doing.
