HELP!! clutch problem

i was leaving school today and when i got in my car and pushed the clutch it went strait to the floor and didn't come back up..so theres a spring that pushes it to the floor, but is there one that pushes it outward? or is there some cable that snapped? i have no idea anything will help.. if someone knows where i can get a diagram offline somewhere for the clutch that would help...thanks..

it was the clutch wire it snapped by the pedal.
