Tire size question...

Hi There..

My car has 225/60/16 on it from the factory.. I would like to put some 18 inch wheels on it.. The tire size calculators say that I should use a 245/45/18 to match the diameter of the stockers..

Does any know if they will fit without rubbing..Or do I need a shorter tire..

So Long..
Jeff

Sould run 9.30 at 150 when done..
Now you know why I've got a Supercharged Grand Prix..

Thanks for the reply bud... I had forgot I even posted this question..

Tell me a few things, if you know them without doing a lot of research..
What is the numeric size of your tires.. And would you happen to know your wheels width and back spacing..

Thanks
Jeff

I am thinking of getting new tires as well, but more of a Drag Radial. I have been searching for the perfect size and it is either the 245/45-16 or 245/50-16. I want to keep my stock rims for the Sleeper effect, plus I love the gun metal 5 spoke. But If I was getting 18's, your right I would go with the 245/45-18. You will have no problem with clearance. I am goin to even lower my front end an inch. Don't worry about it.
