Auto Tranny jerks while shifting

Just had a new servo cover put on my Auto Transmission for my 90 max since it was leaking. THe mechanic said it was a new retrofit that seals better. He said it will shift rough for the first 100 miles until the new locking pins (or something like that) sets in. This sounds fishy. Anyone know about this?

i dont know but i tihnk theres something messed up in my auto tranny 93 max se's computer thingy cuz if i put the Power/comfort switch(down by shifter) into the middle/neutral zone it jerks for lil bit than goes away, but if its left in Power or Comfort it seems to run fine..so maybe your 90 max is same way.. try putting that switch into power or comfort and see how it runs...

hope this helps..

Re: Auto Tranny jerks while shifting

dude you should take a ride in my 300z with a v8 in it. old school.

shifting from 1 to 2 is like someone is hitting me in the rear end... haha. i think its like that because its tuned for drag racing.

anyways... good luck fixing it.
