MPFI swap problem

ok. got the swap done, brand new harness, everthings hooked up right, but when i start my car it instantly revs to 5000 and stays there!. noiw we took out the injectors and one was stuck open..... would this cause this problem?... let me know. thanx

Did you switch the outer wires on the TPS??? That is probably it, unless your idle is way screwed up..or a huge couple of vaccum leaks?

I'd say a vacuum leak.

all very possible...... i think the TPS was looked after... but the other 2 r very possible.. i'll mention this to the guy doin my work... hopefully all goes well...... thanx
