thanks alot

i posted the thread about the transmission noises in my 99 malibu (please help me!) and i would really like to thank all 25 or so people who viewed the thread but made no comment at all, i would have been happy with a simple "im really not sure what is wrong, sorry i cant help." but i didnt get sh!t back for a responce. i was hoping this forum could have helped me out but i was wrong. i know i sound like a dick but i thought my request for help was simple.

Re: thanks alot

Sorry you haven't had any responses. I too am having tranny problems (intermittant) and the dealer can't duplicate. Funny how they keep steering me towards "Is it operator error perhaps?...." I'm just like....."Dude--I've had this car since it was new and the tranny is definitely screwing up"

All I can say is trade in the Malibu ASAP. As soon as I started reading about the problems people were having I found ALMOST EVERY SINGLE PROBLEM in my own 2000 Malibu. The worst one (car is in the shop now) is the intake manifold gasket problem--it's a crappy design and my car made it 58000 miles (gently driven by the way) before I noticed OIL in my dex-cool coolant. Sheesh--what a piece of crap.

Like I said--good luck
