Lightbulb dx head hf bottom????

I was chatting with a couple motor heads earlier and they have discovered a new setup or it could be an old one...but to me its new...its a dx head with an hf bottom end and 99 ex intake manifold...if anybody has ever done this setup please give me some info. about for example how it runs....if it leaks....and if possible some hp and tp numbers...thnx for the input

Sounds like a pretty time-consuming path to build a ~110hp engine.

well the nubers i heard were close to 170hp stock(crank hp) and thats not bad because that setup is a ton lighter than the ls/vtec or crvtec

Okay I just looked up an HF engine.. a non vtec head slapped on a ~92hp 1.5 liter HF CRX block doesn't look like it will even add up to 100hp. The numbers just don't add up at all, but I've never seen it so who knows... sorry I can't help.
