what would cause my tach and boost to read way higher than the actual rpm and boost really is? at idle it reads about 2000 rpm and 2 or 3 lbs boost. thanks tim

Poor GM design. Every person I've talked to has the same problem. I think Cotton's or Kirban's will calibrate them for you.

yes they will calibrate them for you but it's not worth it,in my eyes, just go buy afermarket tach and boost gauge and an A-pillar pod
