Talking WHAT?!?! No way!!! Your really gonna build that? YEP!

Well I don't know if anyone has ever done this before but I'm up for the challenge! When I recieved this package today and opened it and I got all warm inside I can not wait to start working on this!!!

I'm going for the "dubbed - out" "WHOA did you see that?" look.

enjoy

I have also thought about ordering this one, should look great with big chromies on it, are you doing it scooby style(mysterievan graphics n stuff) or just a custom van?

I'm not set on the color yet but I'm not going "Mystery Machine". I was thinking black with a ton of flames. But I'm open to suggestions.

well personally, i'd say no to flames, flames are for choppers in my eyes, my suggestions for paint would be

Lime Green
2 tone paintjob (silver along the bottom and candy red on the top)
or a "candy orange" (the color of the signal auto twin drifters) i think that would be the nicest, with all diamond/checker plate on the interior.

Just my i wanna see this when its done!

Hey, I seen a couple of those built, they come out pretty cool too.

The last one I saw done was a couple of weeks ago actually, my friend's 7 year old daughter built it, came out real good too

I look forward to seeing what you do with this, it really is a cool kit.

Where it up to me, which it isn't, I'd do the flames, but the van would be black with some almost ghosted red candy flames... Something like the edges of the flames are a solid red color, but they fade to a candy red black color away from the edges (probably beyond my skills, though). Then I'd get a couple chrome headlight buckets and use those for the lights, and paint the headlamps red. I'd probably add some thick sidepipes, like the ones on a Cobra where you can see the 4 tubes coming into the collector, and the pipe would come out of the body work right behind the front wheel, and run toward the back even with the ground, while the rest of the van is raked forward to emphasize it's height and shape. I'd leave the rest of the front of the van smooth, no bumper no tire nothin, but the back bumper would be chrome like the pipes and the rims. The interior would have a bed and a wet bar, and the whole thing would be canted back so that it was level with the ground while the van was parked. Throw in some buckets, a tall shifter and some some speakers... done.

Man, now I want to build it!!
