To peeps that have done a MPFI swap: how did u hook up ur distributor wiring? I had to swap the distributor connector to add the cylinder sensor wiring and i only had the distributor side of the Si harness, so i just hooked up the distributor wires by matching the colors to the DX harness the best i could. Heres how i made the connections:
Yel/Grn from Si to Tan/Grn on DX Tan to Orange Tan/Blu to Org/Blu Wht to Wht Wht/Blu to Wht/Blu The car still wont start. Is it possible i hooked the wires up wrong? If so, did i damage anything (igniter, sensor, etc)? |

Re: MPFI distributor wiring
you still need to run 2 more wires from ecu. should be 7 wires total. check this out:

Yeah those are the cylinder sensor wires...there was a Blu/Yel and a Blue wire on the distributor side of the connector, i ran those to the ECU with shielded wire. But no one talks about the other 5 that were already there so i wasnt all that sure about how to hook them up. Did i do it correctly?
BTW, i love ur website

It sounds like you did the rest of the wires right. All it is is mathching up the colors thats why nobody says anythign about it. I think the tan wires you have used to be orange, at least thats how mine was.
