Yup, the best way to wreck a perfectely cool EVO and have a good headache instead !

Well, he's lucky that I wasn't the guy in the Lotus Elise... cuz he could eat his hamburger through a straw by now ! So the crash isn't a bad thing for him.

Humiliating thing... going back home towed by a John Deere !!! Haha.

That is sooooo fucked up on so many levels. First the guy was kinda showing off to the porches and elises that a little evo could take turns just as well with given technique, but then he gets sloppy and loses it. Yeah, they all laughed pretty hard after they found out he was safe.

Sad for an EVO to be wrecked like that..

But I am wondering why the car flipped after the car lose traction?

Why it flipped over: because he only had two wheels on the ground, he was sliding downhill and through sand. My guess is that since his CG was so off center that when he hit the sand, they caught the wheels, slowed them down and let the heavy top of the car roll it on over. Proof of this (or at least, what makes me think I'm right) is when they show the front left wheel with the tire pulled all the way off.

And also, for a point of clarification, drifing is not the fastest way around a track. So, it was in the '80's but cars have gotten better and good race drivers now hold a good, controlled, fully tracted line through turns. Not that drifting isn't cool, fun, difficult, and a segment of motorsport in itself, but it's not a real viable way to beat someone racing anymore. Its more like "freestyle driving" than it is actual racing (ie see who can get around the track the fastest). It doesn't look like those Porsches or Lotuses are running full bore, and they probably aren't if it's a driving school. If they were, I doubt the EVO would be passing them as easily.

Who put this is "Drag racing," shouldn't it be in Drift Forum?

Poor Evo, who knew it was going to turn out like that...
