Question ECU question

I just bought a JDM H22A from a Japanese Prelude S.. i'm putting it in my 98 SH.... will my stock ECU work?

No, it won´t! You will need a Type-S or aftermarket ECU because of the different VTEC crossover point, redline, fuel map,...Keep in mind that the JDM Type-S engine has got about 20 horses more than our USDM/ EDM H22A engines because of Type-S pistons, cams, intake, slightly different exhaust manifold,....

I am not a JDM specialist so please correct me if I am wrong!

Well - the motor was false advertised... its just a JDM H22A - but it's ok - the price still rocked - $1550 shipped.... not a Type S though.... so my ECU should still work.
