is there something wrong with this vr-4?

hey guyz it's me again. i found a vr-4 in town and it's a pretty good deal. my parents dont want me to have it because they think 108k miles for a car is way too much, and they are afraid if it breaks i wont be able to repair it because the guy told my mom the replacement parts are expensive. Anywayz, the guy told my mom that the vr-4 "sucked up a lot of oil" and he didnt know if there was something wrong with the car. He just said that about every 1500 miles he put a quart of oil into it. When my mom my dad about this, he flipped out. he said i couldnt have the car because the "engine is shot". He thinks that the engine is bad because it takes up a lot of oil. now i dont know if this is because of the turbos or not....i just want to know if their is anything wrong with this vr4. although if i do buy it i will get it checked by a mechanic before purchase. so is there anything wrong with this 3kGT? if not....how can i convince my parents this car does not have a bad engine, and that 100k miles isnt alot for a 91 car? thanks for listening guyz....

There is definately something amiss if its burning that much oil every month. I wouldn't be buying something like that unless its dirt cheap and you can do engine work yourself.

sorry toinform you it is a very expensive car to maintain, luckily I got the support from the wife at home, I already dumped 8 grant into it on repairs and upgrades, cause its addicting, u want more and more and the more u want the pricier it gets cause u r running out of cheaps mods, lol!!!
Get yourself an eclips turbo , many cheap mods available!!
