B16A tuning question!

I have a '00 Civic Si with some headwork. ITR cams, JUN valve springs, Skunk2 retainers, Toda timing belt.

I would like the 9k redline I could get with a new comp but im short on funds right now. I was wondering if I could make up for any possible power loss in my current VTEC range by simply raising the fuel pressure a bit with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

The motor responds very well to octane booster so I figure the added pressure could give it the fuel its wanting.
