2000 323i - Front left blinker went out, but bulb isn't spent...after
I pulled the light out to check it both went out and remain out...both bulbs intact, wire doesn't appear pinched, etc... Anyone have any ideas? Thanks. |

i have the same problem with the left blinker it doesnt stay on but will blink when i turn i dont know what to do thanks get back to me on that

Try fidling with the left rear tail light harness. Where the wires meet the plug that goes on the back of the light housing. This is also helpful for the plate light failure message on the OBC.

I ended up going to the dealer. It was covered under warranty. Dealer replaced the "BULB SOCKET FLASHER" Part #2 63-13-8-380-211 (the black thin that holds the bulb) and the bulbs. Its been a few weeks and no problems... |

Sounds like it was a bad ground in the socket. I had a similar problem on my volvo. I knew Volvos and BMW's were really similar.
