Need to know if this is a pain or pretty easy for a layman...Also is solenoid located on the starter???

hey i jus replaced the starter on my 85 man it was a bitch, cause i have long tube headers, my solenoid is located on the starter i have a 350, so i believe yours should be too, if you have manifolds it shouldnt be that hard you should be able to do it in about and hour

It's not that hard. If you have stock exaust make sure battery is disconnected, unbolt all wires from starter and unbolt one starter bolt at a time. When all bolts are out, Bring starter up and over towards the front of the motor, over the Y pipe and down. Should be the best way. I've done it this way a lot of times.
