Inspired!!

Hi Guys

I just stumbled into this forum by accident and im so glad that i did, after seeing some of the work that is around i have come to the conclusion that some of you guys are freaks!!! (i mean that as a complement ), now i am inspired in a big way, i havent built a model in over a year, i guess i was just burned out, i work in a hobby shop so im around these things 24/7.

I have always been a car guy especially Jap Imports,Rally,Formula 1 and the occasional old school stuff, most my kits comprises of Tamiya,Fujimi,Aoshima,Hasegawa i think last count i had around 80+ car kits and a variety of aircraft, armour, gundam, anime etcc.

Anyway im just in the process of rebuilding my workshop, which consist of building a new bench, revised lighthing, spray booth and storage. all of my stuff is just everywhere, i guess this is my priority before i actually start any major work, its a fresh start so i might as well do it right.

Heres a crazy idea, any input would be great, i would pressume that most of you guys out there have purpose built spray booths, i had an idea in building a spray booth retracts up and down into my work bench, so if im not using it it just drops down flush mounted in to the bench, voila!! more desk space. im looking into possibly getting small range hood then build around booth around it, does this sound ridiculous? how many of you guys out there have purpose built spray booths in your work shop.

Anyway im glad to be on board, looking forward in getting to know most of you guys out there.

Welcome to AF!!!
That sounds like a great idea. You could have actuators moving it up and down with the touch of a button and stuff.
I don't have a spray booth. I just use the garage floor, or my dad's work bench.
