2001 cold freeze start

I have a 2001 grand am and when the ambient temperature is 60 degrees F or less IT WILL NOT START - The starter or engine does not move...every thing is light up on the board, the battery is fully charged, but the car will not start-up - At the turn of the key there is a "click" inside the cabin, like from underneath the glove compartment, that's all. After a while, when the weather warms up, then it will start!!! Some times, very seldom, in that mile weather, after 10 or 12 intents it will start-up with the energy of the world, no signals that the battery is down -
Has any one reading this had this problem? Thanks

Try taking your intake hose off the throttle body and trying to crank it. See if the throttle body is moving its plate around. It might be frozen in place. You said when it gets warmer...are we talking about warm enough to thaw ice?

sounds like a bad terminal or cable to the battery if the connection is not good it will do that and when it is colder the connection could get worse for two reasons a) when somthing gets warm ii expands possibly giving a better conection and b) the more likly reason the baterry will lose a lot of power with lower temps. so it will have more difficulty in geting trough a bad connection try cleaning all contacts and then tightening the terminals .
