Life of Pi

it was required reading for one of my classes this year. i thought it was a pretty good book, and just wanted to see if anyone had read it.

No – I’ve never read it. However I just finished reading The Mythical Man-Month. That was a pretty good look at some of the concepts and misconceptions of planning software engineering projects.

Re: Life of Pi

I had to buy it for my interpretations of religion class (the worse class ever, btw, I took engineering so I didnt have to do this, but, I needed an elective, and it was the only one that fit).
But, I missed the first class, so, didnt buy it. The second class, she told us we only needed it for the first 2 classes, and the first 75 pages.
So, havent read it, but the concept seems decent.

the first 75-100 pages suck... the story and the thematic value it holds only comes into play after that.... gl with the class though
