brake booster nut removal---
How the heck do you get the locking nuts off the studs going thru the firewall from the brake booster? I don't think I can swing a socket wrench ( with a deep socket). Is an air tool meant to be used?
By the way, I get a vac hissing when I step on the brake pedal along with an idle speed shange. I assume the booster is bad. The vehic has 150,000 on it. |

Re: brake booster nut removal---
I use a combination of a swivel socket and a impact swivel on a 12 or 15 inch extension with an impact wrench.
By the sounds of it, you have a bad booster.
