clutch damper..&.. not running

i went to www.columbusracing.com and asked advise on bleedin the clutch on a 90 240 and someone told me to just remove the damper. can you do that?will it screw anything up. i know that it is there for a reason but the way that the lines run, it seems like it is just an extra part.
also i am havin probs gettin it started. we swapped a ka24 for another ka and now it will fire but not start. i checked the firing order about 5 times to make sure that it is right and i took the valve cover off to make sure that the timing chain guides we ok and all that but i am totally stumped. any help would be appreciated!

the thing that is funny is 24 people have looked at this since i posted and only 1 of you replied to it and had nothing to say about any of the problems that i am tryin to fix on the car. i mean give me a break. i posted it and waited 3 freakin days to post the second reply.
are you tryin to tell me that no-one that looked at it in those 3 days could give me any advise. and alot of you do your own work on your car..... yea right.

i dont mean to be rude or anything i am just tryn to get my nephews car fixed so he can oh i dont know drive it!!!!!

I took off the damper last week.Clutch feels a bit more direct. You'll notice the difference right away.

Pretty easy to do

Check out: http://sr20.hybrids.jp/installations...box/index.html It makes bleeding the clutch fluid quicker.

I just bent the hardline from the clutch M/C and connected it directly to the rubber line
