GP to LaSabre engine swap?
I have a friend who needs to know whether a 3800 Series 2 engine out of a 1998 Grand Prix will fit into his 1993 Buick LaSabre. He said that the computer and all the wiring comes with the engine. He's assuming it will fit but are there any special problems or expenses he should know about. Any information about this engine swap is appreciated. Thanks!

Simple. Check the VIN. It will have a digit that will either be a letter "L" or "C" near the end. If that digit is the same, it will work. If not, Don't Even Try. Why pull it out of the grand prix?
