Re: 01 grand am mods

I would imagine your wimpy 4cyl is a 2.2 ecotec , perhaps DOHC . GM has kits for these engines that can provide up to 1360hp extra horse power. Thats without nitrous. Not so wimpy any more huh? Well keep your eye out for turbos and superchargers they provide huge gains. You might consider porting the intake manifolds and port and polish the exhaust. Its a simple proccedure providing you know how to. Send me a message , tell me what you think.

Re: 01 grand am mods

okay guys you have problems here..

you got your motors all wrong..

if your motor is the 2.4L DOHC Twin Cam also known as a quad4 in some circles do yourself a favour and ask some questions on http://quad4forums.com

if you have the 2.2L ecotec go ahead and check out http://rsmracing.com http://mantapart.com http://j-body.org

the 2.2L ecotec is DOHC not OHC like someone just said..

there is an older 2.2 OHC junk pushrod thing, which is has never been used in the grand am.

do your research before posting and check those sites out
