Talking Just got my car

I just got my car. It's a white 2 door '95 Accord LX and it's completely stock. I'm wondering what kinda mods I should start out with. I want it to look nice and have decent speed. The first thing I need to do is get those ugly black panels off the side of the car. Does anyone know how to do that?

First thing u do is get a type R sticker to give it that extra kick

than get a big can of Beffy Stew....yea and eat it all, than cut out the top and bottom and than weld it to ur exhaust

than u wanna get some chrome spray paint, yea, just go buck wild.......

than u wanna get some kewl racing stickers to go with the Type-r, fidn some neighborhood children and let the go buck wild

also some spoilers of a dif color like red or black would go nice, dont even worry about painting them the same color

oh and than buy one of those huge planes u always see on tv that go in a circle and come back, just stick that on top of the trunk

u should be set than

What is your deffinition of looking nice? For me, that would mean making sure the car looks clean (the paint) and then adding xenon bulbs, at least for that type of car. For speed, unless you wanna spend major cash, you will end up a rice rocket trying to get any speed. I suggest you make small performance mods, and focus on the stereo and interior (not neon lights, leather and nice stuff...ya know)

Dunno what engine your car has, but new air filter and exhaust are usually good places to start for modest performance gains.

You want to start out with the induction and exhasut areas first. Letting your car breath better is the first step in more power. Then I would suggest ECU upgrade as well as an underdrive pulley system. Maybe cam gears to advance your timing.

Good Luck //////

Thanks for the help Towlie, I really appreciate it. Anyway, I guess an Accord is not the best car for speed so I'm going to go for a nice interior and clean looking exterior thats not riced out. Does anybody have any ideas of what I can do to the exterior from looking at the pic or what can I do to the interior of an Accord? Whatever I do I don't want to get the labal of a ricer. Thanks for the help.

For interior i suggest leather and real or fake (whichever you can afford) high polish finished panels. Get a nice stereo (not only subs), and nice head unit.

I am going to move this to the Accord forum. You will get a more mature response.

Talking nice car

dude, ur car can be fast trust me, mine is, after a while you'll understand how to get the edge, but dude, start out with AEM cold air, then slap on an exhaust of your choice, then get some headers, comptech makes some kick ass ones, so does dc sports, then get some pulley's, cam gears, and then come back and tell me what you think. but while ur doing all this, allow some money for some looks, slap on some clear corners, lighting and whatnot, if u like, grab some altezza style tailights, and tell me how you like that biznatch:smoka:

You've got a basic looking car that can be spectacular if you take your time and discover what you really want your car to do. Look around, alot of cars that are fast do the same things to get that way. Intake, header, exhaust, ecu upgrade, you know basic stuff. You can get wild and go supercharger or turbo. Your budget will determine how far you can go. In the looks department, just try to be yourself and think of the best colors and comfort items that will mesh together with your car. It's all out there for you to find. It just that it will be up to you to decide when it comes time to buy. I have a 90 Accord LX and it's coming along just fine. I am currently working on the header and exhaust solution. I've been slowed down by a problem with my tranny but this should get resolved in the coming months.

Good luck You'll do fine, trust me.

Yea I'm gonna get the moldings, side skirts, and front and back lips painted soon. I've put in JL Audio speakers and a head unit. I'm planning to get intake, headers, exhaust, lower it, rims, clear corners, s-type lights, clear bumper lights. Uhhh...I can't think of anything else, but that should be a good start hehe. Oh yea and get some tint on there.
