Header + oxygen sensor

My car is a 95 Civic coupe with the sohc D16zc engine. A guy wants to sell me his used DC Sports header, but the bung for the oxygen sensor is at the bottom while mine is at the top. Does anyone have any experience with this? That is a reliable solution that will work.
Need qiuck answers.
Thanks.

I have a 94 with the d16 as well... the header on mine has the o2 sensor down near the collector. i dont think that is anything unusual.

As already stated, the sensor is at the collectors end. What do you mean at the top. There should be no problem at all.

The only extension I've seen is the one that comes with the DC Sports header. Your friend should have it.

You can use any wire you will find at an auto parts store or radio shack for that matter. Just make sure your connections are good and you shrink wrap them. Just match the gauge wire you have now and extend it. Better yet go to an auto parts store and ask to see an O2 sensor for your car, or any really, from behind the counter to compare it to the wire on the sales floor.

Re: Header + oxygen sensor

B16EJ1 said it, the header comes with an extension. If he won't give that to you as well, I wouldn't buy it unless you want to splice your stock O2 wires and extend them.
