my ls/vtec and its victims
i have a sleek, black LS Integra...with recently built LS/vtec:
- CTR pistons 12:1 compression - ITR intake manifold - enlarged throttle body - still in slow progress...needs the basic stuff like header and fuel management - soon to have a freind donate a turbo from his supra when upgrading here are the victims so far...and i have only lost one race...lastnite to a built WS6 trans am -Athens County Sheriff -Z28 Camaro -LT1 Firebird -WS6 Trans Am -Many, Many Mustang 5.0's -Mustang w/ 351 -Many, Many kids that think their Caveliers are fast -Old School Porsche -H22 Prelude -GSR Integra -Dodge Stealth -Other Integras... Additions as of Oct. 19... -Twin-Turbo Fairlady 300z -Mustang Cobra -BMW -Turbo Supra -Mustang GT -Mustang Cobra #2 -Mustang Gt #??? -Turbo Supra #2 -Convertable Mustang GT (Got Nitrous?) |

That's quite a list you have there. I have beat people before but they didn't know I was racing them :-P hehe.

jus wondering wut times ur putting down w/ that?
because most of those cars are atleast high to mid 13's, NOT doubting at all (sorry if it sounds that way at all), jus am interested in if u've ran it at the track. buddy had an ls/vtec and was putting down low 14's w/ simple bolts an lsd tranny.

that setup doesn't sound like you should be making that much more hp than an ITR? how are you beating 13 second cars? All you have is a little higher compression and an enlarged throttle body over the R.
I'm not callin BS but I can understand beatin the 300z or even the cobra but how in the world could you have beaten those cavaliers???????

good job man. i raced a ls/vtec in my home town last weekend and i didnt start beating him till about 100 or so. the trans in your car makes a big diff. lots of torque. when u turbo u should be in the low 11's.

sounds like u got a sleek car...good list u got...heard that ls/vtec has lots of problems...u got any yet?...j/w...i gotta 94' ls and was planning to do ls/vtec, but not too sure yet either...jux wanna know what kinda problems i mite run into when doing this swap...thanx...peace

im not sure about my car...ive beat many cars which should definitely be able to beat me...maybe its all about the drivers...but i recently pulled on a civic with a built gsr (2.0) which should have blown me away...maybe its my transmission...i dunno...people may not believe me about the cobra's or any other cars that ive raced and beat...but i guess u gotta see it to believe it...i havnt had my car to the track yet cuz it was broken down without a tranny until the track was closed...but i do plan on taking it...dunno wut time to expect tho

I know LS-Vtec's can be pretty fast but I am not really buying this story. I mean some of the cars....ok but the Supra Turbo for example should blow you away. Those things come with 320HP and run low 13's. Your LS/vtec just with pistons and enlarged throttlebody is not gonna run with a Turbo Supra or a Cobra for that matter. I might become a believer once you show us a slip but for now I can't really believe this story.
