hey all!
what is the largest rims i can possibly fit on my 94 silverado with out doing mods to my wheels wells. oh and also that will be with low-pro tires on my truck. i believe that i can fit 23'' rims on it with tires with out doing mods on my truck. what do u guys think i can fit on it? and do any of u have larger rims on your silverados? plus i will be looking to lower my truck after i buy my rims. so what do you think would be the best size i can fit 22's or 23's? |

It depends. If you leave it stock, I'd say 23's maybe 24s at the most. If you lower it the most you could probably do with 23 is a 2 inch drop.

hey texas,
thanks for the reply! i heard that i couldn't fit 24's on my truck with out having to do mods to my fenders. i am pretty sure i can get 23' on it too. hey by the way that is a nice truck you have. are those 18's or 20's and what size drop did u get on ur truck? |

Now that I think about it you probably would have to trim the fender well b/c it would rub when you turn. 23's may rub when you turn too, but I'm not 100% positive on that.
Thanks for the compliment. They're 20's, they do look pretty small in the pic, but now 20s look small compared to everything thats out now, haha. Its a djm 3/4 drop. Thanks again.

Not a problem at all. Unfortunately when I got the truck in 99 it already had a drop on it, different wheels though. But usually if you order from somewhere online itll probably be around $400-500 I'm guessing. Its been a while since I've looked at prices so i can't really recall. If you plan on lowering it i would do the drop first and then get wheels, that way you know how big you can go. You could more than likely fit 22's with a 3/4 drop but would have to trim. With a 2/4 drop it would be no problem. And if you just decide to level it out in the back with drop shackles it would be really cheap and you could still run 23's. But before you do anything, check with a couple local custom truck shops in your area and get there opinions b/c they'll probably be a lot more help than I can and know what wheels will fit with what drop.
