LT1 Engine Swap
Hey I have 1965 Chevelle that I am going to put a camaro LT1 w/ an auto (4L60E) into. I was wondering if anyone had done this and what they had to do as far as transmission mounts. Or any other info anyone would like to share.
Thanks! |

Re: LT1 Engine Swap
That is my some day project *sigh*. 65 Chevelle SS w/ LT1 or if I have extra $$, LS6.
Anyways I have a Hot Rod Magazine describing a 67 Chevelle Swap LS6 swap (That one they were giving away). I'm not sure how close the engine bays are. But there was something about having to cut and reweld the oil pan to fit the crossmember. If you want I'll scan the article and email it to you.

Krazy,
man I wish I had that article now but I left all my mags in the states... I know car craft did something like that in one of the issues.
