Camaro95 3.4L V6 electrical problems
Hi all, I faced the following situation: Start my car- take a 2 miles ride to the mall and when I got back in the car the battery (fresh installed) was dead (4V) !!!! The only electrical thing I set my hands on was a few months ago when I installed an after market radio-CD replacing the factory's one. Any ideas where is the short-circuit problem ? xjohn69 |

Re: Camaro95 3.4L V6 electrical problems
sounds like a charging system problem, check your alternator output

Re: Camaro95 3.4L V6 electrical problems
if it never did this before you installed the radio, then thats where the problem is. if you dont know alot about electrical systems, i suggest taking it to the dealership and having them run a parasitic draw test on it, and isolate the circuit for you that has the excess draw that killed your battery. in wiring your radio, you probly accidentally spliced into a wire that is keeping a module or something awake, and its killing the battery.
