97 Cierra Can a Keyless Entry Module be added, I have power locks
Can anyone tell me if I have power locks if a keyless entry module can be added? IS IT POSSIBLE that I ALREADY HAVE ONE BUT the original owner never got any key fobs ? How can I check. How can I add one?1997 GMC Sierra. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The option code for RKE is AU0. Check your RPO label in the glove box for it. It was not available with an SL, optional with SLE, & standard on SLT models. The "factory" system is not available as an add on, it's built into the vehicle & I think GM discontinued there acc kit, but I could be wrong with that so check with your local dlr. However you can add the feature, usually with any alarm system,
& GM does offer those along with the aftermarket. |

I have two of the GM VSc modules. However their appears to be a lot of searching for wires to hook it up. I was hoping that there would be a plug-in solution I guess there's no such luck ?
