I'm from queensland and all i did was read through the sample questions with my dad, and i passed first go, but i think you could go to the rta's web site or vic roads to do a sample quiz.

Im in victoria. All you need to do is read the book once and maybe got over the information you are not 100% sure with and also do the sample questions at the back of the book. It is not incredibally hard. You should be able to pass the test 1st go.

go to www.rta.gov.nsw, they have demo tests, but i live in nsw so the address might be different
