Question changing transmissions

I'm very new to cars, and very willing to learn, my first car was a dodge grand caravan LE, great first car, but I'm 17 now and I'm looking to make some upgrades to the looks, performance ect. but I still want to keep the carvan. Thge van has an automatic transmission, and I'm hopping to give it some more power, and I was wondering if anyone knows the process of converting an automatic transmission to a manual transmission. If any one has any idea or maybe web sites with information on the subject, I would be most gratfull.

I have one for a NICE body Kit but it's in Japan... I still haven't found one here in the USA... I'll find the link and post it later.
