Battery light
Is anyone having or had problems with their check battery light? My light is coming on more and more frequently. The dealer checked and replaced the alternator but the light still comes on. I have had two different dealers, Autozone and two CarQuest's check both the battery and the new alternator with no problems found. No one seems to have an explanation. Any help here would be great.

If I were you I'd go over to www.aztekfanclub.com and post the question there. I haven't heard of the problem but we have quite a few techie types there who may be able to help

Hello,
I recently had my battery light start coming on and replaced the battery... but the light still continures to come on. occasionally I know my altinator is working and wondered if you were ever able to isolate your problem. Thank You Lance Geppert

Couple things to check. If it starts ok (doesn't turn over slow or anything), I would check the cables to make sure there is no corrosion, in particular maybe the cable that goes to undehood fuse box. Another thing to try, even though the alternater appears to be good, is an active load test on battery/charging system.
