Holden Astra - acceleration pedal query

Hi

I'm new to this forum and new to holdens.. just purchased a Holden Astra equipe 2003 model.

I have had this car for about a month now and have noticed something with the acceleration pedal that wasnt occuring when i first bought it.

The pedal seems to have some slack in it. In other words, when i attempt to accelerate, i have to press the pedal at least 2-3 centimeters in before the car actually moves. The response was alot more instantaneous when i first started driving this car.

should this be happening, or do i need to get it checked out?

any thoughts would be appreciated

i'd get it checked out. It should be still under waranty so they should fix it.

sorry, get it checked out at your dealership or someone that they refer you to.
