how does dry nitrous work?

i heard that dry nitrous does not wear your engine as much. where can i get a system like that, and is it difficult to install it on a carb motor or a fuel injected motor?

Wrong forum, but anyway, a dry nitrous system is a system which provides only nitrous and no additional fuel - it depends on the engine's own fuel system to provide the additional fuel to richen the leaned mixture.

There are lots of companies that make these systems, and I wouldn't say it's too difficult to install one.
