I bought a 89 Acura Integra drove it for a month then the throttle cable seized, went to the local junkyard (Figured it'd be cheaper that way) Replaced the cable and it seized again after 2-3 miles I have tried looking online for a replacement either at a parts store or somewhere that could send it quickly Only place that May have it is the dealership.
First does anyone know a site where I can order one, or have one shipped to me quickly and inexspensively. Second why is it seizing in the first place |

I was quoted $37 from the dealership with a wait time of two weeks. I was however able to find one at a parts store for $8, not the right peice but it works (so far, only needs to hold for the 2 weeks for the new piece).
I figured out what the problem was in the first place. My engine was grounding through my throttle. I have fixed the problem and am waiting on the piece from the dealership. |
