Question Daylight Running Lights off when turn signal on

My 1999 Jimmy's Daylight Running Lights(DRL) go off when I turn on my left or right turn signal. Could this be a problem with some crossed wires? Any thoughts?
The Jimmy had some repair work done on the right front quarter and left rear quarter.
