Question before buying 88 GTU

Found an 88 in excellent condition. Missing a few pieces of interior trim. Car has 89K on it with a 91 motor that only has about 40K on it. Owner appears to be very knowledgeable about rx7 and rotary. New rims, tires, belts, brakes, hoses, k&n air, adjustable shocks, anti-slip, stainless steel exhast and mufflers. The interior is in perfect condition. Also included 2 extra computers, 2 radios, extra tranny, extra switches, 2 seats, and lots more.

The only issue is it does not want to idle with air on but I think it is just a sensor.

Any thoughts about quality, reliability, price for this car or rx 7 in general?

TIA

Not a turbo. Did not want one. Though he thinks, with mods, it putting about about 200hp.

What are the mods? I had a fairly moded 87 NA and when we thought it should be pushing 200 we were bearly at 150 on the dyno. And that was with the advice and thinking of the local dfw club guys and RP.

Not a mechanic so I wont be very specific. K&N air intake, reduced pulleys(?, has 2 belts for everyting), custom stainless steel exhaust, not sure what else.

This is also an 89 engine in my 88. He had it shipped from Japan with around 30kish miles. He also told me there is a carb that I can put on it and get another 50hp out of it and it also solves the flooding issue.
