Why So Expensive???

ok my question is why is mitsubishi part/services so expensive. the dealer i bought the car from wanted 500 bucks to do a 30,000 mile checkup most places i know do this complementary, then i need some new rims cuz 2 of mine are slightly dented they want 101 dollars per wheel for steel wheels an another 72 dollars PER HUBCAP.

btw where are the spark plugs located on a 2002 lancer es i cant seem to find them atleast i dont think i have found them.

Suply and demand. Mitsubishis have been quite popular especially after the Fast and the Furious movies (grrrr) have been out, so alot of people have been buying them. Plus they aren't the easiest cars to work on, so the dealers have alot of cars that are hard to work on, so they charge more. Plus most people don't know that much about cars, and the first place they take them to are the dealers, this makes the dealers demand much higher, with a higher demand, a higher price comes along with it.

It depends on the kind of car you’re talking about and the work being done. The 60K change on the 3000 is about a grand to do – always has been.
