hard question... but I dont think there is, there is TRD parts for them but TRD only seamed to mod the 4age 1.6's for racing since they like to hold high revs

not that i know of....
but there is a 16 valves blue top that is used in atlantic formula 249hp tunned by TRD....

N1 engines are tunned by TRD i think they are silvertops (realy not shure of that..)

and of course the 503-E based on the 3sgte and good for 1000hp+....

wich is used in pikes peek celica and other races....

You are probably thinking of the 1.6L 4age Formula Atlantic race engine. It puts out 250hp, and the block is off a 4agze. They do this becuase the 4agze block is alot stronger, and can hold more hp. However it is a n/a engine.

the atlantic engine is NOT a 4agze block i'm 110% sure of that

its is a 4age blue top block

even if the 4agze is stronger i'm positiv that it is a blue top block that is used in the atlantic engine

yes some built with the red top or 4agze block but not in the official atlantic championship

yep the N1 engine is silvertop (is it the ones they use in formula toyota? they were silvertops TRD tuned)

the gze block is the same block as the 20v's but I dont think it was used in the atlantic engine

guyz all 4ag engines from 87/88-93 (in australia) use the same 7 rib block with the same rods n the same crank differences lie in the head n pistons only

sorry to argue a little but the 20v and the gze do not have the same block ...

the 20 v as the same block as the red top (130hp)

the gze is a different block
and the blue top is different

so there is blue top

gze

and 20v/redtop blocks

i might be mistaken?

well... I own a silvertop, and here in NZ the AE101 and AE111 is very common so were to start hmm...

ok,
20v's and gze both use the 7rib block
20v's have lighter blanced rods over gze stronger heavyer ones
gze has semi forged pistons (some forged)
cranks the same (I think)
and then there is the heads....
also the gze runs a heavyer gearbox to handle the power down low better and in most cases came factory with LSD

in short the 20v internals are lightend and blanced for a high reving n/a engine, while the gze has the same block but heavyer bottom end to handle the pressure better

my engine bay
