Re: coilovers, springs shocks?? I just want to drop my car

Money spent on suspension is far from a waste.

Do want a car the looks good & rides good or a car that looks good & rides like complete shit?

For your own sake, do not use cheap low quality springs or coilover sleeves. I don't recommend sleeves, but go with Ground Controls. Don't forget you will need upgraded shocks meant for lowering & a camber kit(really only needed for 2" or more), also an alignment, & an alignment EVERY time you adjust the ride height.

thanks jackassi but your advice is what i expected but hoped nobody would say dont think i dont appreciate it, but im not a racer I dont pretend to be a Racer not because i dont want 2. But because ive allways been a sound enthusiast and thats were the bulk of my money went. I want to slam my car but be able to lift it again thats all what you requested im guessing is going too cost me more that a couple hundred...and i dont plan on wasting lots of cash on this because all i want is a allright spring or coilover or what ever i need to drop my car a inch or two just that so any name brands or advice appreciated

I don't know about other places but I agree w/ jackassi on this one. Suspension is one thing that you should not be cheap with. But my definition of cheap is not the same as most others. You can get quality stuff for real cheap. Just last night I picked up practically band new Neuspeed sport srings for my boy. Cost me only 40 bucks. I don't know about other area's but the greater Seattle area has a sh*tload of tuners. We have many local forum sites and classified sites mainly for people selling used performance parts. We even have wrecking yards that are company specific. They sell parts from totalled cars that go from mildly modified to fully modified. I've gotten most of my parts here locally, even most JDM peices. I'd start there. Try www.thepartstrader.com . Do an advaced search on that site for your local area.
